My alias is taken from the name of a 5th century b.c.e Presocratic Greek Philosopher. I just happened to like the name and his impact on the history of philosophy. I was originally going to name myself Phoebus Apollo, cuz he's cool, but i soon found out that there was some guy out there who had beaten me too it ; ) No joke! So I settled on Anaxagoras, because I didn't want to continue the Greek god thing, and I would have had to call myself Zeus -- because he'i coolest next to Apollo --- and i didn't want to be that presumptuous...
